Dyno Testing Meet
The Dyno test shown below took place at Street Stuff in Addison, Illinois. Dyno testing involves locking the car frame to the ground while leaving the rear tires on giant rollers. By accelerating the car almost to top speed, the power output of the engine at the tires can be determined. The horsepower and torque readings can be seen along with pictures below. "The results for the automatic stock Delorean were 90 bhp and 113 lb-ft of torque. The supercharged Delorean pumped out 122 bhp and 161 lb-ft of torque on its first run. On its second run, it jumped up to 134 bhp and 170 lb-ft of torque. That is pretty sweet."
